Overview
Commencing in February 2026, this project presented several unique challenges, including a steep incline, restricted access and heavy material logistics.
Our clients presented us with a blank canvas: a sloping, difficult-to-mow lawn that had become essentially unusable. We designed a budget-friendly solution to transform this neglected area into a highly functional, low-maintenance outdoor living space.
Navigating tight access points with our machinery, we successfully cleared the existing turf. From there, we hand-excavated the site to lay the groundwork for a custom, curved fire pit area. To elegantly retain the sloping bank, we constructed a curved stone wall that doubles as built-in seating – perfect for entertaining and weekend barbecues.
Finally, we defined flowing garden beds using Corten steel edging and completed the space with a modern, low-maintenance planting palette.
